### HELP NEEDED PLEASE ### Harveys Law is now at 94000 signatures. We still need more MPs to support the petition when it goes to be debated by the Backbench Committee. We all know that compulsory micro chipping is coming into effect in April 2016. Are you all aware that the Transport Minister decided in a Government Spending Review in 2010 to start phasing out the Canine Fatality Procedure? This means that Highways Agency contractors no longer have to scan, record pet i.d details, contact the owners and the pet identification companies. This procedure has already gone in over half the Country, by July 2015 the procedure will have disappeared altogether. Look at the e petition and read the response by the Department of Transport Minister. It clearly states that Harveys Law is NOT necessary as there is already a procedure in place. This is clearly untrue if you look at the attached info obtained under the Freedom of Information Act. We have all worked incredibly hard to get this far, dont let your signature be in vain. We MUST have MP backing. Derek Twigg MP is willing to propose bring the petition forward for debate, we have an MP prepared to second it. We now need more MPs to fight our cause. How can one department bring in compulsory chipping and another phase out scanning them. It beggars belief. We do not want anymore Harveys, Shivers, Jesters and Ferns. We CAN do this. Contact the Minister for Transport and ask him to explain his response to the e petition. At the time the response was received the procedure had already been phased out in 7 areas! Please look at the link and find out who your MP is. Please contact them and ask them to support Harveys Law. Send them the petition link and save the information on here and send that too. Tell them why we need Harveys Law. To request support you must live in their area. If you feel confident enough you can also request a meeting with them. We have MP packs prepared and have been amazed that not one MP has been aware what is happening. Most are astounded.
