WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY ABOUT THESE PLACES ...P A R T T H R E E... I W I L L R A I S E H I M U P A T T H E L A S T D A Y So if Jesus said those words to His disciple, [actually Martha ] to here Jesus was speaking to about her brother LAZARUS... THE SOUL VRS. THE SPIRIT WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE? The “SOUL” is the “will”, “emotions”, “intellect”. The “SPIRIT” is the VERY YOU..Whenever you come to The Lord Jesus Christ to be converted, what happens at that state is YOUR SPIRIT IS REDEEMED, I,e it has been BOUGHT BACK FROM SATANS DOMINION OF THIS DARKENED WORLD..He is called THE RPINCE OF THE POWER OF THE AIR.. Paul tells us in at least TWO PLACES about the differences between these “two entities”. One of them is found here in 1 Thessalonians 5:23:”...And the very God of peace sanctify you WHOLLY; and I pray God your WHOLE SPIRIT AND SOUL AND BODY be preserved blameless un to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ...” And the other Scripture is here in Hebrews 4:12:”...For THE WORD OF GOD is quick and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, PIERCING EVEN TO THE DIVIDING ASUNDER OF SOUL & SPIRIT, and of THE JOINTS AND MARROW, [this is the body] AND IS A DISCERNER OF THE THOUGHTS AND INTENTS OF THE HEART...” The “heart” that he mentions here is THE WHOLE COMPLETE YOU..SPIRIT, SOUL & BODY.. We are a spirit being, we live in a body and we possess a soul. The real person inside of us is our spirit. Our soul consists of our mind, will and emotions. Our bodies are obviously what we live in while we are here on earth. How did demonic spirits vex and possess (control) people in the Bible? It was through their souls (minds, as in mental illness and insanity), and their bodies (as in the woman who had the spirit of infirmity). Example of physical (bodily) demonic affliction: Luke 13:11, And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself. Example of mental (soul) demonic affliction: Matthew 17:15,18, Lord, have mercy on my son: for he is lunatic, and sore vexed: for ofttimes he falleth into the fire, and oft into the water... And Jesus rebuked the devil; and he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour. 2 Corinthians 5:17, Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. This is speaking of our spirits, which are instantly made new the moment we accept Christ. The Bible even tells us that the old man in us has died with Christ, and that we are raised to new life through Christs resurrection: THERE IS IN ALL OF CHRISTIANS TWO NATURES THE ADAMIC NATURE AND THE CHRIST NATURE A good example of the TWO-NATURES that are within all of us is here in Genesis chapter 25 verses 21-23 and it is about JACOB & ESAU..It is a good example to show us THE NATURAL FIRST THEN THE SPIRITUAL and that is the way it always will be and always will be. WE HAVE TO LEARN HOW TO “TIE OUR BEAST TO THE ALTAR” as a good brother and friend of mine, Bro. Paul Dyal said one time... Even though we have died to sin, and been raised to new life through Christ Jesus, our souls (that is, our minds) still need to be transformed and purified by the washing of the Word: Ephesians 5:26, That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word. OUR SOULS ARE NOT BORN AGAIN AT ONCE HUST OUR SPIRITS ARE The Bible is clear that even though our spirits are born of incorruptible seed, our minds (souls) still need to be purified, that is, cleansed: 1 Peter 1:22-23, Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth forever. Our spirit is instantly reborn and made new the moment we accept Christ, but the soul is not born again. Our souls are transformed by the renewing of our minds: Romans 12:2, And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. There is no simple answer to this question because the words, “soul” and “spirit,” are employed in varying senses within the different biblical contexts in which they may be found. The following represents a very brief summary of some of these major uses. THE SOUL The Hebrew term for “soul” is nephesh and it is found more than 780 times in the Old Testament. Because of the variety of contextual meanings, it is not always rendered by the English word “soul.” The King James Version uses 28 different words by which to translate the original term. Nephesh, therefore, signifies different things, depending upon the passage in which it occurs. Similarly, in the Greek New Testament, the original word for “soul” is psuche, found 103 times. Our modern word “psychology” derives from this Greek term. Here are some uses of “soul” in the Scriptures. A PERSON “Soul” may signify merely an individual person. The prophet Ezekiel declared that the “soul” (i.e., the person) who sins will surely die (Ezek. 18:20), or, as Peter would write centuries later, “eight souls” were saved by water in the days of Noah (1 Pet. 3:20). See also Exodus 1:5. L I F E In some contexts, “soul” simply has reference to biological life, the animating principle that is common to both humans and animals. All creatures have “life” (see Gen. 1:30; cf. ASV footnote). The wicked king, Herod the Great, sought to take the “life” of baby Jesus (Mt. 2:20; cf. Rev. 12:11). In one of the visions of the Apocalypse, certain creatures of the sea were said to possess psuche, or life (Rev. 8:9). THE MIND “Soul” can have to do with that aspect of man that is characterized by the intellectual and emotional (Gen. 27:25; Job 30:16). It is the eternal component of man that is fashioned in the very image of God (Gen. 1:26), and that can exist apart from the physical body (Mt. 10:28; Rev. 6:9). The Spirit In the Old Testament, “spirit” is ruach, found some 378 times in the Hebrew Old Testament, and literally meaning “breath,” “wind,” etc. The corresponding Greek term is pneuma, occurring 379 times in the New Testament (the original form being found in our English word, pneumonia). Again, though, as with “soul,” the word “spirit” may take on different senses, depending upon its contextual setting. THE AIR THAT WE BREATH Ruach can literally denote a person’s “breath.” The queen of Sheba was “breathless” when she viewed the splendor of Solomon’s kingdom (see 1 Kgs. 10:4-5). The word can also signify the “wind.” For instance, some people, pursuing empty goals, are but striving after the “wind” (Eccl. 1:14,17, etc.). I WILL RAISE HIM UP AT THE LAST DAY BUT WHEN IS THIS “LAST-DAY?”John 6:40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. ACCORDING TO THE WORD OF GOD THE RESURRECTION AND THE JUDGMENT ARE AT THE LAST DAY But lets see what The Holy Scriptures open us up to! The Holy Bible speaks about THE 7TH. TRUMP...And it also speaks about ... LAST TRUMP...But these are NOT THE SAME... THE NATURAL IS FIRST---THEN THE SPIRITUAL We have talked a lot about THE SPIRIT/SOUL& BODY..And we have discussed about where does the SPIRIT & SOUL & BODY go when a person dies... THERE ARE TWO HARVESTS MENTIONED IN THE BIBLE ONE IS FOR THE JUST AND THE OTHER FOR THE UNJUST Daniel asked a question to the angel [ Daniel 12:8 ] “...And I HEARD, but I UINDERSTOOD NOT: then I said, O my Lord, WHAT SHALL BE THE END OF THOSE THINGS...?” And he said ,Go thy way, Daniel; for the WORDS ARE CLOSED UP AND SEALED TILL THE TIME OF THE END...” People, like myself have been confused over this “issue” of the TWO ANGELS..of the TWO HARVESTS..Until I have done a more clearer research of this subject. I believe that THE FIRST SICKEL ANGEL is for the GATHERING IN OF THE VINE OF THE EARTH OF ALL THAT HAVE TURNED THEIR HEARTS TOWARD THE LORD JESUS CHRIST...{ Rev. 14:14-16 } Then there was ANOTHER ANGEL that was to REAP THE VINE OF VTHE EARTH { Rev. 14:17-20 } THIS WAS THE REAPING OF THE UNGODLY NATIONS FOR THE GREAT SUPPER REVELATION 19:17-21 THIS GREAT SUPPER FOR THE FOWLS OF HEAVEN ARE THERE TO FEAST UPON THESE DEAD CARCASSES OF THE SLAIN DEAD OF ALL THE UNGODLY ARMIES OF THE UNGODLY AND THE ANTI-CHRIST.. Revelation 19:17-21 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great. And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh. THERE ARE “THREE-VIEWS” ON THE MILLINNIUM 1/.PREMILLENNIAMISM 2/.POSTMILLENNIALISM 3/.AMILLIENNIALISM MILLINNIUM...1,000 YEARS OF HISTORY WHICH THEY SAY THAT CHRIST WILL REIGN AS KINGS OF KINGS ON THE EARTH [ Rev. 20:2-17 ]...First..let me say this...Revelation, chapter twenty..HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH ANY REIGN OF CHIRST ON EARTH... Revelation chapter 20 says NOT A LITERAL THOUSAND...But it in the original Greek wording it said “C H I L I O S” PLURAL..Meaning THOUSANDS, AND THOUSANDS.. So then..lets see what these FOUR VIEWS ARE ALL ABOUT Huh? View 1/. Premillennialism means= The belief that The Lord Jesus Christ returns VISIBLY and BODILY at the BEGINNING OF THE SO-CALLED 1,000 YEAR REIGN ON THE EARTH...HE WILL RULE THE NATIONS FROM JERUSALEM.. View 2/. Postmillennialism means= The belief that CHRIST will return at THE END OF THE PRESENT “AGE” to take over the earth. Meanwhile, He is assumed to reign here on earth through the church now. Postmillenialists do not necessarily believe in a LITERAL MILLENNIAL AGE. Satan was defeated at the cross and is NOW BOUND, hence the final triumph of the church in history is assured. View 3/. Amillennialism means= The belief that there WILL BE NO LITERAL 1000 YEAR REIGN OF CHRIST. Thus Revelation 20 is TAKEN SYMBOLICALLY, NOT LITERALLY, by their adherents of this view. Amillennialists generally agree that ISRAEL HAS BEEN PERMANETLY SET ASIDE FOR ALL TIME and that Gods CURRENT PLAN OF SALVATION INVOLVES ONLY THE CHRUCH.. THERE ARE “SEVEN-VIEWS” ON THE RAPTURE 1/. PRE-TRIBULATION RAPTURE= That Christ will RAPTURE THE CHURCH BEFORE THE TRIBULATION BEGINS.. 2/. MID-TRIBULATION RAPTURE=That Christ WILL RAPTURE THE CHURCH AT MID-POINT OF THE SEVEN YEAR TRIBULATION PERIOD. 3/. POST-TRIBULATION RAPTURE=That Christ will RAPTURE THE CHURCH OUT AT THE END OF THE SEVEN YEAR TRIBULATION PERIOD. 4/. PRE-WRATH RAPTURE=That Christ WILL RAPTURE THE CHRUCH OUT JUST BEFORE THE BATTLE OF ARMAGEDDON. 5/. PARTIAL-RAPTURE=That Christ WILL RAPTURE THOSE WHO ARE READY AND LEAVE THE REST TO GO THROUGH THE SO-CALLED 7 YEAR TRIBULATION PERIOD. 6/. MULTIPLE-RAPTURE=That is there are MORE THAN ONE RAPTURE, DURING WHICH CHRIST RECEIVES THOSE WHO ARE READY.. 7/. PAN-TRIBULATION POSITION=That is NO CLUE ABOUT FUTURE EVENTS, BUT THYE THINK IT WILL ALL PAN OUT IN THE END.. THERE ARE SEVEN SEALS...SEVEN TRUMPETS...SEVEN VIOLS..SEVEN BOWL-VIAL JUDGMENTS The SEVEN BOWL JUDGMENTS ARE THE WINE OF THE WRATH OF GOD, WHICH THE LORD JESUS CHRIST WILL TREAD OUT HIMSELF. Matthew 13:24-25 – “The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a man who sowed good seed in his field. But while men were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went away.” Matthew 13:47-48 – “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a dragnet cast into the sea, and gathering fish of every kind; and when it was filled, they drew it up on the beach; and they sat down, and gathered the good fish into containers, but the bad they threw away.” Matthew 25:1-2 – “Then the kingdom of heaven will be comparable to ten virgins, who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were foolish, but five were prudent. The Wheat and Tares We have an advantage in determining the meaning of the parable of the wheat and the tares. In Matthew 13:36-43 our Lord Himself interpreted the parable for us, so we don’t have to wonder if we have the correct interpretation! Tares (or darnel) are weeds that look like wheat in their early stages of growth. In the parable, the tares represent the “sons of the evil one” (v38). These unbelievers look like true believers, but their profession of faith is false. In the end they are shown to have never been saved. They will not be allowed to be part of Christ’s kingdom, but will suffer an eternity in hell (v42). It is important to realize that “weeping and gnashing of teeth” is not a description of “loss of reward” for believers who have lived unfaithful lives. No! It is a description of hell. The tares are not unfaithful believers. They are unbelievers—”sons of the evil one” (v38). The wheat, on the other hand, represents the righteous “sons,” who will be gathered in to share in the glory of the kingdom when the Lord returns (v43). The Wheat and the Tares In the parable of the good and bad fish, the kingdom of heaven is likened to a large dragnet cast out into the sea of this world. Both good and bad fish are gathered into the net. In the same way, wherever the gospel has gone, both true believers and false “professors” have been gathered into the realm of the kingdom of heaven. The sorting of the fish, like the separation of the wheat and the tares, will not take place until the end of the age. Then the “bad fish,” those who only profess to believe but have been gathered into the “net” of the kingdom of heaven, will be separated from the righteous and taken away to suffer the same end as the tares—a “furnace of fire” with “weeping and gnashing of teeth” (v50). The “good fish,” who are righteous because of their true faith and acceptance of the King, will enjoy their inheritance in the millennial kingdom of our Lord on this earth. The Wise and the Foolish Virgins In Matthew 25, the parable of the wise and foolish virgins is also specifically said to be a parable of the kingdom of heaven (v1). Thus this parable also covers the entire period of time between the first and second advents of Jesus Christ. The Lord did not give us the interpretation of this parable, but it is quite obvious that He is represented by the bridegroom. The wise virgins (or bridesmaids) are true believers and the foolish virgins falsely profess faith, as in the other two parables. Notice that all the virgins, both wise and foolish, became drowsy and began to fall asleep until the call went out that the bridegroom was coming(v5). For many centuries of Church history the expectation of the Lord’s return was forgotten, in large measure, by the professing church. Even during the time of the great Reformation, the doctrine of the Lord’s return was not prominent. But a revival of the doctrine of our Lord’s return took place, and for the last 200 years this great hope of the Church has been proclaimed. As a result, true believers have trimmed their lamps and prepared for the Lord’s return. Furthermore, unbelievers have also been awakened to realize that they are not part of the evangelical community. This part of the parable has already been fulfilled in history. In Matthew 25:10 we see that when the bridegroom came the wise virgins went in with him to the wedding feast. In this parable, the wedding feast represents the blessings of Christ’s kingdom here on this earth when He returns. The foolish virgins are those who falsely professed to have faith, and they will be shut out of the kingdom because they are unbelievers. Notice, as in the parable of the wheat and tares, the foolish virgins are not unfaithful believers losing out on kingdom rewards. No, they are unbelievers who do not have eternal life. We can firmly assert this because the Lord would never say to a true believer, “I do not know you” (v12), no matter how unfaithful the believers had been. The fact that they say “Lord, Lord” (v11) emphasizes the fact that they are professing believers. They are the same crowd of unbelievers to whom our Lord referred in Matthew 7:21-23. Even though these people will call Jesus “Lord, Lord,” and appear to be true believers by their “ministries,” they are proven to be false professors by our Lord’s declaration of “I never knew you”—something He would never say to a true believer. The parables of the wheat and weeds, the good and bad fish and the wise and foolish virgins should make us more aware that every person who “looks” like Christian, and who talks like a Christian and who says “I’m a Christian” may not really be a true Christian. Furthermore, these parables should motivate us to examine our faith, to be sure we’re in the believing group with the wheat, the good fish and the wise virgins. I truly believe that The Lord Jesus Christ is GATHERING OUT OF HIS KINGDOM ALL THINGS WHICH DO OFFEND..And these are THE BAD FISH..THE TARES...AND THE FOOLISH VIRGINS.. Have you ever heard the “phrase” BIRDS OF A FEATHER FLOCK TOGETHER...? Well this is exactly what is happening in HIS CHURCH TODAY... The Lord Jesus saw what was happening in the early 1960s whenever the P.T.L. “PartyTimeLovers” came upon the Christian scene..It drew literally millions into THE DEVILS NETWORK..Then along came in the early 1980s another DEVILS TRAP called “T.B.N.” TotalBaloneyNetwork...It finished GATHERING THE REST OF THE TARES AND BAD FISH.. WE ARE LIVING IN THE VERY END-TIMES PEOPLE..THE HARVEST IS HAPPENING NOW..HIS ANGELS ARE GETHERING TOGETHER FROM THE FOUR CORNERS OF THE EARTH HIS ELECT...THEY AND ONLY THEY WILL BE ABLE TO DISCERN THESE HAPPENEINGS..{ Read Daniel 12:1-3 } AND SHALL TURN MANY TO RIGHTEOUSNESS...
