HI! My name is Peaches! I am a ball of energy because I am an 8 month old puppy. I’m part Shar-pei and part lab. My foster mom says I have a lot more energy than a typical Shar-pei so I am wearing out the other Shar-pei (and other dogs) in the house. I am spayed and up to date on my puppy vaccines. I like being with my humans and the other dogs in our house. I love everyone that comes to visit but when I go out, I’m a little apprehensive when meeting humans and dogs bigger than me. I go to day camp so that is helping me with my socialization. I get kenneled when day camp is done for the day, but I don’t often get crated at home. My foster mom says I am a very good puppy! I like to sleep in the big bed. I LOVE food and get very excited at meal time, but I will sit and wait for my meals. Sometimes I think my name is “Peaches Off” because I can finally reach the counter so I can check out what food is available. I thought I would get rewarded for that achievement but not yet. I love toys and I like to retrieve my tennis balls and my chicken toy. I may be shy at first, but I will turn into a snuggle bunny once I get to know you! I would probably do better in a home without small children, and I would definitely like a doggy brother or sister to play with all the time. I ride great in the car although I think I should sit in the front seat. I’m also doing great with my potty training and haven’t had an accident in the house in over a week. I have been with my foster family since 7-13-14, but I would like to find my fur-ever family before the summer is over. Check out my antics on Facebook by visiting the Shar-pei Savers page.
