HINDRANCES TO RECEIVING GODS HIDDEN TREASURES. God promises to release the wealth of the wicked to His chosen, righteous ones (Prov. 13:22, Isa. 45:3). Following are 21 hindrances to receiving that wealth. Confession of and repentance for these hindrances are essential. 1- Not knowing or thirsting after Jesus 2- Not accepting Jesus’ definition of right and wrong (eating from the tree of knowledge of good and evil) 3- Not seeking righteousness with a true heart 4- Not letting salvation bear fruit in us 5- Quarreling with God and how He does things 6- Not asking God what to do 7- Not submitting to the correction of God’s Word 8- Not letting Jesus make our way smooth 9- Not leaving vengeance to God 10- Not allowing Jesus to be God in our life 11- Letting our hearts be lifted up in pride and arrogance 12- Not acknowledging God in all provision and blessing 13- Planning and doing things in our own strength 14- Not showing ourselves trustworthy in all things 15- Gathering treasure for ourselves without seeking Gods 16- Not planting and watering and expecting to receive a harvest 17- Not honoring a pledge or keeping a vow 18- Not stimulating our minds and hearts by the words of God and faith 19- Running to Satan for money and Mammon more than God 20- Not seeking first the Kingdom of God 21- greed and covetousness.
