HIPSTER? Just saw Matt Reed at the beach. He asked if the Schwinn Varsity was mine. Told him yes and he said it was hipster and caused me to think about you and No Ho Rachel Zilaitis. (OK, maybe the abbreviation of North Hollywood was not placed well.) Anyway, the manly yellow ride is actually my brother Joseph Zilaitis bike given to Charlie Zilaitis for use here in Florida. The bike was purchased circa 1971 at Wellers Bicycle Shop in Pottsville, PA. The Trek on the right is from Grandaddy Smith and my regular ride. Judging by the seat height and the condition of the back tire, Tabitha Zilaitis is suspected of having ridden through lawn stickers yesterday. Taba!!! Btw, on the day my Dad bought Joseph the manly yellow version, he purchased a Schwinn Varsity for me also. Mine was powder blue. Something tells me bro and I really wanted quality bikes at the time and couldnt wait for Mr. Weller to factory order black or Navy blue or whatever. :) And so I was probably never eligible for a mancard Andy Anderson. But looking forward to riding either of these magnificent machines on the repaved Riverside Drive Commissioner. :) The Happy Hipster
