HISTORY: BEAR ROCKS v. BEAR ROCKS Some of you may not know that our community, called Bear Rocks, is NOT the Bear Rocks of history. That historical hiking and picnicking venue is at an undisclosed location within Bullskin Township, and is now privately owned, and inaccessible to the public. Im guessing that the Bear Rocks Ski Resort used that name in homage to the nearby historical landmark, and the residential community just continued with it.
