HOBBY LOBBY and the force of Obamacare......... Throughout our nations history, corporations have been treated differently than individuals when it comes to fundamental, personal rights of conscience and human dignity,The First Amendments free exercise guarantee has always been viewed as a purely personal liberty. The question in this case is whether all Americans will have religious freedom and will be able to live and do business according to their faith,or whether the federal government can pick and choose what faith is, who are the faithful, and where and when they can exercise that faith? A key issue for the justices will be interpreting a 1993 federal law known as the Religious Freedom Restoration Act, requiring the government to seek the least burdensome and narrowly tailored means for any law that interferes with religious convictions. Can companies, churches, and universities be included, or do the protections apply only to persons? It wouldnt be surprising if we had a case at the Supreme Court every year for the next five about Obamacare, as the lower courts get in the nitty-gritty of exactly how to implement this complicated statute, there are a lot of ambiguities; there are a lot of new rules that agencies are (adopting). Theres a lot of anger and a lot of contention about putting this statute into effect. This is a religious liberty issue ( freedom from what they call state intrusion into private moral decisions) I stand with Hobby Lobby......The large retailer says it already provides coverage for 16 federally approved forms of contraception -- such as condoms and diaphragms -- for its roughly 13,000 employees , now the Government wants Hobby Lobby to pay for other forms of birth control without a co-pay? Seriously...... I support Hobby Lobby, The Government has no business making or forcing Law on the private sector to start with.
