HOT UPDATE! There is currently an open position for a 68W (Health Care Specialist) at the Army Reserve Unit located in Marquette, MI. If you are wanting to get a degree in the medical field, regardless of the level of degree or specialty, this is an extremely rare position. Once filled, it will not be available for up to another 6 years. Because it is for the Army Reserve, you are only required to work one weekend a month after returning certified from your medical training. This allows you to obtain your medical degree while simultaneously having Government employment in the medical field. So, when you obtain your degree, you have 4-6years work experience to add to your resume! Not to mention, you will have the degree without a $250,000 college loan debt. This career and educational path best suits HS Juniors and Seniors, as you will gain the most educational money, possible enlistment bonus, and you will be able to transition from high school to college. For those in college, this will also benefit you, but you will be required to take a brief break from college to attend the Army medical training, then pick up right where you left off.
