HOW TO FILL OUT YOUR BALLOT! 1. Open the envelope and remove all the items included. 2. Locate your ballot, attached to the bottom of the instructions. 3. PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO THE SECTION I HAVE HIGHLIGHTED IN YELLOW! BREAKING THESE RULES WILL PREVENT YOUR BALLOT FROM BEING COUNTED! 4. Separate your ballot from the instructions and VOTE NO 5. Place your ballot in the SECRET BALLOT ENVELOPE and seal it. 6. Place your SECRET BALLOT ENVELOPE inside the return envelope, and seal it. 7. DO NOT SCRATCH OUT, CUT OUT, OR OTHERWISE DEFACE YOUR NAME, CODE, OR ADDRESS ON THE BACK OF THIS ENVELOPE! This WILL NOT allow the IBT to identify how someone voted. This envelope will be thrown away before the SECRET BALLOT ENVELOPE contained inside of it is opened, thereby preventing anyone from knowing who voted what. Your code, name, and address are displayed purely to be sure that you are ELIGIBLE TO VOTE. If you attempt to remove or deface this information YOUR BALLOT WILL NOT BE COUNTED! 8. Put your envelope in your mailbox right away so that it has plenty of time to arrive in Maryland before the April 10th count.
