HP Slate 7 Android tablet coming soon to India HP recently launched its first set of Android based smart devices in the Indian market including HP Slate 21 hybrid tablet and now company is planning to launch the 7inch tablet HP Slate 7 in the country soon. According to a report on Tech2, company is planning to launch more Android powered devices in the country and the 7inch tablet is also in HP’s future roadmap for the Indian market. HP originally announced this Android tablet back in February this year with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system. Features wise, it comes with a 7inch touch screen display with the resolution of 1024*600 pixels. It is powered by a 1.6GHz dual core processor along with 1GB of RAM memory. The tablet runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system. It comes with 8GB of internal storage with expending option via microSd card. It features beats audio integration, 3.1MP rear and VGA front cameras. It also comes with common connectivity features like WiFi, DLNA and Bluetooth options. According to HP this 7inch Android tablet provides 5 hours of continuous video playback time with its massive 3500mAh battery. HP Slate 7 is going to have a tough competition in the 7inch display tablet segment in the Indian market because the market is already dominated by many budget offerings from rival brands. It is currently selling for $140 in the US market, approximately Rs. 8,400. Let’s wait and watch how much HP is going to charge for this 7inch Android tablet in the Indian market to beat the competitors.
