HULIKAL OR AGUMBE ? most people dont have a idea of wettest series . they may think agumbe or some may think hulikal but both these place are wet . some what wetter is hulikal . hulikal crossed 6000 mm for past few days . now agumbe also crosses 6000 mm till now . agumbe recived good amount of rainfall for last week . it recived 5085 yeserday .with 55 mm recived till now agumbe got 6039 mm . KARNATAKA - sampaje - 136.2 mm talacauvery - 65 mm agumbe - 55 mm madekeri -100 mm madekeri kodagu recived 3132 mm till now . heavy rain may ht coastal line of karnataka Rainfall tally in Somwarpet taluk as well is high this year compared to last year. The taluk average from January till Monday was 2234.5 mm against a meagre 862 mm recorded in the same period last year. Virajpet taluk average has reached 1968.88 mm (856.55 mm) Kodagu district’s average rainfall from January to 8 a.m. Monday was 2616.46 mm, much higher than the 1021.54 mm received in the corresponding period last year. Madikeri taluk average is the highest among the three taluks which was recorded at 3645.97 mm (1346.07 mm).
