HUNTERS AND FISHERS: I need help.... I am confused by the wording on the initiative to add hunting rights to our state constitution. MS Amendment 1 The official ballot text is as follows: “ House Concurrent Resolution 30 - This proposed constitutional amendment establishes hunting, fishing and the harvesting of wildlife, including by the use of traditional methods, as a constitutional right subject only to such regulations and restrictions that promote wildlife conservation and management as the Legislature may prescribe by general law. Yes ___ No ___ I put into quotations the part that bothers me..... it doesnt FEEL right. Whats your opinion on this? Is it meant to trick us? If we dont vote yes because of the wording are we doing more harm than good? I dont know, I just dont trust it...... What say you?
