HURWORTH Maintenance Technician Hurworth House School Permanent - Full Time Salary up to £14,000 per annum At Priory Education we are proud of our reputation for delivering quality education and care services with positive outcomes for children and young people aged 5 to 25 who have experienced difficulties in their previous education placements. Priory Hurworth House School is a specialist day school for up to 40 boys and girls aged 7 to 19 years, who have complex learning requirements including BESD and ASD. Young people may also have challenging behaviour as a result of their difficulties. Priory Hurworth House aims to deliver the highest level of education tailored to individual needs in a safe, positive, structured environment where every student is encouraged to achieve the best possible academic, social and vocational outcomes. As a Maintenance Technician you will undertake regular inspections and audit of buildings, equipment, machinery, fixtures and fittings in accordance with planned maintenance schedules. You will undertake and/or supervise the completion of routine maintenance operations and remedial repairs in accordance with planned maintenance schedules ensuring work complies with operational standards and statutory regulations. You will respond to unplanned events undertake emergency inspections, and routine repairs for which you are approved to undertake ensuring any remedial action complies with operational standards and statutory regulations. You will also monitors and inspect work completed by maintenance assistants and contractors ensuring repairs, installations, refurbishments and other maintenance complies with operational standards and statutory regulations. You will also ensure inspection certificates and maintenance records are accurate, up-to-date and comply with operational standards and statutory regulations.
