Had a bit of a disappointment when I dropped the rabbits off this morning. Called to get an estimate, called to confirm estimate for the spay/neuter, went in today for the surgery and its was $60 more per rabbit than I was quoted. Since whoever quoted me did not include the exam fee and pain meds. This made it 50 - 75 % higher than the original quote depending on the rabbit. If Miss Hutchins had not broken in with the boys and had been living in sin, I would have left. I talked to the practice manager and we are splitting the difference down the middle. Which I guess is better than nothing, but it doesnt seem right that I am paying for their mistake. And if you multiply it by 6 it really changes things.
