Had a great day paddling Hitchcock Creek today with a good group of folks, Sonny Aycoth James Allen Kevin Spradlin and Mark Long. Good turnout considering how cold it was this morning when we put in. While Sonny was able to continue past the first stage, he had to wrap it up at Midway. James and I decided to run the whole 14.2 Miles all the way to Diggs. We made it right at sunset, so its definitely possible to run it all in a day. The water levels are absolutely perfect right now. Being a bit of a risk taker, I decided to run the rapids behind Von Drehle for a second time. Heres the video James shot. Gonna try to upload the Go Pro video I took during the run to YouTube, but I havent had much luck with it yet.
