Had a great time competing with the dogs this weekend. Both dogs did very well in agility on Saturday and Annie did well at Rally yesterday but the best thing that happened this weekend was outside of the competition ring. I was able to get Riley thru the horse barn we were competing at and into and back out of the ring twice without him reacting to any dogs. Once hes in the ring, he is totally focused on the job at hand so thats a good thing. Also when we were walking outside, he say a bunch of dogs and looked back at me. So proud that hes starting to look to me for guidance instead of taking things into his own paws. Heres his Standard run. You might want to skip to about 2:40 on the recording as the videographer wanted to be sure not to miss anything. I was trying to keep him focused on me while we were waiting for the judge to arrive. He does a little dance near the end of the dogwalk as I think he wanted to go visit the judge, probably why he couldnt maintain his two-on-two off criteria.
