Had a horrible trip home Friday after work...just turned on to N-14 and starting heading south and noticed a maroon truck heading to the centerline. I figured it would pull back over but instead it was coming right at me head on. I took the ditch to avoid and the truck. He nearly missed my ass end and also went in the west side of the ditch too. I hammered on the gas to get back out and to see what the case was (a texting person would of went down!) Both our vehicles stayed upright. But here out of the truck comes an Older man. Feeling terrible he admitted he fell asleep. He had been at the Fair all day and was headed back to Fairmont. He never even seen me. We chatted then I told him I needed a hug cause I was still shaking. Angels were with both of us that day. (Thanks Dad).Being so shook up I never even got his name. I told him I was headed home to Terril. I went home and hugged my family tight!!! Well..... today while painting in my garage..... in pulls that scary maroon truck. It was the nice Older man and his Wife. He said he asked a couple people uptown and found me. He apologized again and him and his wife thanked me for risking my life to save both of ours. WOW......also handed me an envelope which also thanked me again and said God Bless. I did not expect anything but yes there was a gift inside. I was quite an experience........just never expected an ending like this. It made me feel GREAT that he stopped by. Still have a smile. Thank you Lord....I know everything happens for a reason.
