Had a spare day in Ahmedabad and someone suggested to visit - TopicsExpress

Had a spare day in Ahmedabad and someone suggested to visit Akshardham Temple in Gandhinagar. Prefered to visit alone and it paid off. Found out that Saint Swami Narayan was alive just some 200 years ago. Below the temple is a museum. For a visitor, it is just a 10 minute walk but for a Devotee, it is just timeless. It was easily noticeable that visitors were just moving in a hurry or if someone found it interesting to watch, they had to follow, where their family was moving in the museum. It was a very wise decision to go there alone. I was just soaked in love, seeing the love of those volunteers, who lovingly created this museum in dedication to the Guru they love. For a Devotee, I will say, its a must watch. For example, Swami Narayanan used to travel in bullock cart, so the devotees have preserved many parts of the original bullock cart, and than have created the exact replica of it. And they have printed the whole story, behind every object that they have preserved. One could just move in a different world, just to imagine, the kind of things they have preserved. And a beautiful mantra chant that was going on, inside the museum, made the visit, even more sacred.
