Had a through checkup witht the Gastroenterology Dr.s nurse practicioner this afternoon & they have scheduled me for a scope test down throat & the colon scope test Nov.21 to find where i am passing blood. I hate the thoguth of those tests but want to slove my prblems. My dr. called me yesterday evening & the chest x ray was normal & all the blood work was good except my vitiman D is very low it was 18 & should be 25 or hgher so I got a prescription for high powered Vit.D & takke 1 tablet a week for abouot 6 weeks then they will check levels to see if i continue the high power D or go back to over the counter. So some good news to go along with the suspence of waiting to have the tests done & get the results but i am trying to think positive & hopefully it is only a smal problem that is caused me to test positive for blood in the stool .
