Had a wonderful day in clinic today... Drove to Westport. Wandered around some and saw the sun set on the Atlantic for the first time in my life. Back at the hotel I hit the sauna and steam room... My old joints feel better. And I pushed my envelope. Despite a shockingly enough severe anxiety about entering new social situations I forced myself into a pub playing traditional Irish music. It was overwhelming at first. Admittedly I almost left but the music drew me in and made me welcome. Im so glad I stayed. I made new friends and enjoyed some Ireland that is rarely seen! 10-12 amazing musicians who simply stepped in and began to play. A true jam session and it was AMAZING!!! I sincerely hope the videos post! Some of the best musicians from Dublin, Belfast, Sligo, Galway, and everywhere in between! Its not easy to step out of your comfort zone... But sometimes ... Its worth getting over the fear and anxiety!
