Had an awesome night at a friends Christmas party. But when I got home I found my kitty, Tiger, missing. We searched the neighborhood, calling his name, but he is currently no where to be found. As I give up on searching for the night I see a tire on my truck is flat. This is not going as I wouldve hoped for or wanted. Im trying to remember something I heard tonight at the party, gratitude is not about circumstances but about perspective. Right now that is hard to hear but it is probably what I need. Tomorrow is not looking like it will be anything like I expected. Posting this to try and affirm that while I am frustrated and afraid I am still trying to trust that Gods goodness has not changed. This is a public act of surrender to Gods goodness, whatever the outcome may be. If you were part of my plans tomorrow, Im sorry because it looks like they just changed. To those I was planning on seeing but now will not, Merry Christmas.
