Had someone call me earlier & asked me to meet him with a friend & discuss GODs Word!!!! :-) Afterwards as we were leaving there was someone sitting at a table out away from us behind me & I spoke to him greeting Him & asking how he was doing!!! He replied I was doing good till I heard you lying to those young men!!! And the poor fellow said he heard me speak in with what we were talking about the Necessity of being Baptized & told them that I was wrong that Baptism has Nothing to do with Salvation!!! :-( I Replied It Very Much has an Important part of our Salvation!!! Hebrews 9:22 ..... Without Shedding of Blood is No Remission!!! Luke 24:46-47 And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to Suffer, and to Rise from the dead the third day: And that Repentance And Remission of Sins should be Preached in His Name among All nations, beginning at Jerusalem!!! Acts 2:37-39 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter And to the rest of the Apostles, Men and brethren, What shall we DO???? Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and BE BAPTIZED Every One of you in The Name of Jesus Christ FOR The Remission of Sins, and ye Shall Receive The Gift of the Holy Ghost!!! For The Promise is unto you, and to your children, and to All that are Afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call!!! Jesus said - John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, EXCEPT a man be Born of Water(Baptism) and of The Spirit(Holy Spirit), he CANNOT Enter into The Kingdom of GOD!!! Mark 16:16 He that Believeth AND is Baptized shall be Saved; but he that Believeth Not shall be Damned!!! John 7:38-39 He that Believeth on Me, AS The Scripture hath said, Out of his belly shall Flow rivers of Living Water!!! (But this Spake He of The Spirit, which they that Believe on Him Should Receive: for The Holy Ghost was Not Yet Given; Because that Jesus was Not Yet Glorified(Died & Resurected)!!! ) The poor fellow must have been lied to & That Jesus came & Died for naught!!! It is SAD that anyone would try & do Away with The Word of GOD & try & explain it away!!! They will All believe one day But it will be Too Late then!!! Why would anyone want to take away from The Word of GOD??? Revelation 22:19 And if Any man shall Take Away from the Words of the book of this prophecy, GOD shall take Away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book!!! He even tried to explain it Away by speaking of the third man on the cross!!! I Explained to him that that was Before The Death Burial & Resurrection of out LORD & Savior Jesus Christ & Him Coming back Through the Receiving of The Holy Ghost!!! So as living still in the Old Testament, Jesus was his Lamb for Sacrifice & his Priest!!! Hebrews 5:6 ... Thou art a Priest for Ever after the order of Melchisedec!!! & it takes The Death of The Testator Hebrews 9:15-22 And for this Cause He is the Mediator of the New Testament, that by means of Death, for the Redemption of the Transgressions that were under the First Testament, they which are called might Receive The Promise of Eternal Inheritance. For where a Testament Is, There MUST Also of Necessity Be The Death of The Testator!!! For a Testament is of Force AFTER men are Dead: Otherwise it is of No Strength at All While the Testator Liveth!!! Whereupon Neither the First Testament was Dedicated Without Blood!!! For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people, Saying, This is the blood of the Testament which GOD hath enjoined unto you. Moreover he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry. And almost all things are by the law Purged With Blood; and Without Shedding of Blood Is No Remission!!! Jesus BLOOD is Applied When we are Baptized under the Water(Representing His BLOOD) in His Name (JESUS Name)!!! John 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the Truth; It is Expedient for you that I Go Away: for If I go Not Away, The Comforter(Holy Ghost) will Not Come unto you; but if I Depart, I will send Him unto you!!! If Anyone Tries to Explain Away The Need of Baptism, they are Enemies of The Cross!!! :-( Philippians 3:18 (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the Enemies of The Cross of Christ!!! Jesus Came to this Earth to Shed His Blood for our Salvation!!! Hebrews 2:2-3 For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward; How Shall we Escape, if we Neglect so Great Salvation; which at the first began to be Spoken by The LORD, and was Confirmed unto us by them that heard Him!!! Even Paul that wrote most of the New Testament Knew the Importance of Baptism!!! - Acts 19:1-6 And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain Disciples, He said unto them, Have ye Received The Holy Ghost Since ye Believed???? (Believing alone is Not Enough) And they said unto him, We have not so much as Heard whether there be any Holy Ghost!!! And he said unto them, Unto What then Were ye Baptized????? And they said, Unto Johns Baptism. Then said Paul, John verily Baptized with the baptism of Repentance, saying unto the people, that they should Believe on Him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus!!! When they Heard This, they Were Baptized in The Name of The LORD Jesus!!! And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, The Holy Ghost came on them; and they Spake with tongues, and prophesied!!! HOW CAN ANYONE THINK THAT BAPTISEM HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH SALVATION??? IT HAS EVERYTHING TO DO WITH IT!!!!!!!!
