Had the weirdest experience of my life! I was so happy to see I had the fortune of getting a window seat on my flight from Singapore to Johannesburg -- for anyone who flies 20+ hours, youd know the window seat is gold -- It means I can use the window to lean on for the purposes of catching some much needed rest. As I was getting emotional while watching Long Walk to Freedom, I smelt something a little off and felt something moist on my arm. To my horror, I realised the person behind me had their foot on my arm rest (right under the window and touching my arm). I practically jumped at the sight and turned to my friends for help...all were sleeping. I called the flight attendant and using a hushed tone I discreetly said the person behind me has his foot on my chair! (ysee I didnt want him to hear me), she asked me to repeat what I was saying four times to the point where I eventually just yelled LOOK, FOOT!!! and pointed to the crime scene. She asked him to put it down, so he did. When my friend sitting next to me awoke, I told her about footgate, and about ten mins later, his foot reared its head between us about three times, she stood up and faced him and said can you not?! and he put his foot away. About a few mins later, his foot reappeared (accompanied by the Jaws soundtrack) right under my beloved window, I alerted my friend and no joke, she started smacking his foot until he put it away. At this point I was in a fit of giggles. It was not long after the smacking incident that his foot made a comeback, this time I smacked it with my pillow until it was gone. And then after that, we kept elbowing it back and we even built a makeshift pillow fortress to protect us from this pungent terror. At one point I could hear heavy breathing between my window and his seat and I turned around to see his face inches from mine just staring at me, at this point I just had to give up and laugh at the insanity. It was truly the most bizarre ten hours of my life. #bewareofcreepyfeet
