Hafa Adai Paddlers, Due to the tight schedule, MPRA Race Committee has decided to cancel the 20 mile water change. We will not be hosting this race. The next race is as schedule, which will be on Oct 5th & 6th , Micro Cup Tune up. This is the last race of the Galaide Cup Race Series. More information will be forth coming after this weekend. Junior team will be allowed to participate in the Micro Cup tune up. Please ensure you have submitted your team’s shirt size to the Race Director, Sizes will not be accepted after Saturday. Please email your sizes to Victoria Camacho (victoria.camacho@gmail) Our race committee has also offered an incentive to support the Coastal Clean-up taking place this weekend. Teams who are participating in the Galaide Cup and support the Coastal Clean-up, below is how your team can earn extra points that will be counted towards the overall points for the series. Race Committee will award 1 point per paddler participating. The max points to be awarded, per team is 15 points. How points will be claimed: - Team must be wearing their team uniform during the coastal clean-up. (not shirtless) - A picture must be taken of the team at whatever site and posted on the MPRA Galaide Cup facebook page. - The points will be awarded based on how many people (up to 15) are in the picture - The Picture must be uploaded to the MPRA Facebook Page, no later than 12:00pm on Saturday. After 12:00pm, points will not be awarded. Let’s do our part and help in the coastal clean-up. After all the ocean is our playground!
