Haha. Another one of my friends posted that internet sticker about how they are vowing to NOT shop on Thanksgiving, because they believe in family. I think I wrote a response to this, last year, but I feel the need to write another one. No, Im not mad at ANYONE for posting this, but I TOTALLY DISAGREE. I dont care one bit if the stores open up at 9 am on Thanksgiving and people choose to work, or are forced to work. Guess what? Im FORCED TO WORK on Thanksgiving....Christmas....New Years....etc. Can I quit my job because I dont like it, yep. So can the people at the mall. Hospitals NEVER close. People are always sick. Do I care that people are willing to shop and spend their money while someone is missing turducken or tofurkey....nope. Im with you, in the trenches, fellow holiday worker. If people didnt get sick on holidays, the hospital would still be open. Same with the few people who protest holiday shopping engagements. THE MALLS WILL OPEN WITH OR WITHOUT YOU. Should I post a badge that people should not get sick on Thanksgiving because theres some of us that do not get time with our families on that day? LOL
