Hallelujah! The Bible says: “Comfort, yes, comfort My people!” - TopicsExpress

Hallelujah! The Bible says: “Comfort, yes, comfort My people!” Says your God. “Speak comfort to Jerusalem, and cry out to her, That her warfare is ended, That her iniquity is pardoned; For she has received from the Lord ’s hand Double for all her sins.”(Isaiah 40:1-2). This chapter of Isaiah opens with beautiful words from Gods own mouth. God repeats the word confort twice to show the importance of it. This word describes not only the ministry of prophets in the old testament, but also that of preachers in new testament. You see, we all need someone to confort and encourage us, and I thank God for the privilege of being his prophet to confort and encourage you. The ministry of preachers is to confort Gods people who live in this world of troubles, sufferings, calamities, sin, sicknesses and difficulties of all kinds. What was God saying here? He was simply saying: your troubles are over, your sufferings have come to the end. The time for the captivity of Israel was over. God sent me to confort you with these words and tell you that your troubles are over. Cheer up child of God! I declare and decree that your poverty, your sickness, your celibacy, your unemployment, your barrenness, your troubles in marriage or at work, your financial problems and various difficulties have come to an end. It is over, in the name of Jesus! Receive it by faith and you will experience it. Amen! Have blessed day. Apostle Matala
