Happy 16th Anniversary, Jeffrey Myers! As each year passes I learn more and more what the real meaning of love is. Through our marriage I have learned its easy to celebrate the good times. Its easy to love when everything is going my way. Its easy to praise God when all is well. But...its in the hard times, when life is falling apart and nothing is going my way I have grown the most. Its when everything is broken and we cant see eye to eye I have learned to seek the face of God. In 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 Gods word describes how to truly love someone. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. When I break down each sentence its not hard to realize I fall short of showing you Gods love everyday, but I look forward to the rest of my life to allow my God to show me how to love you in this way. This is truly my hearts desire! I love you! ♥
