Happy 20th Birthday, PlayStation! Long post: Let me list 20 very memorable PS memories (I bet some of my friends can relate to): 1. The awesome #PS1 startup screen (watch the video, and relive the moment!). 2. That dreaded moment during startup when it wont go through the second screen displaying the PlayStation logo. 3. Flipping the game console upside down during startup to load the game up. 4. Oh, #MemoryCards! Oh, my saved games! Oh, my overwritten saved games! 5. Sleeping late / waking up early on a school day and going ballistic on #Tekken. 6. Skipping school just to have Justin, Sue, and Feena beat Gaias ass and finish #Grandia (Tagging Adie, because he knows what Im talking about.). 7. When you imitate the sound the moment #CrashBandicoot acquires an Aku Aku mask (ooga booga!). 8. Opening the PS1 lid so Fei Wong Fong wont encounter random battles. #Xenogears 9.There were just three types of metals: #MetalGear, #MetalSlug, and #TwistedMetal. 10. Blindly playing the tactics game #Popolocrois because you got the original Japanese copy (Joe Vince, can you still remember this?). 11. Falling in love with the demo version of #FFVII that came in with Popolocrois, and summoning #Leviathan to overkill soldiers. 12. Summons, Guardian Forces, Aeons, Eidolons, Espers — gotta catch them all, right? Christian, Zachary, Alain, Cyrus, and Mike? #FFXIII #FFIX #FFX 13. PaRappa the Rapper, Bust a Groove, and Dance Dance Revolution — still better than the Kinect, Wii, and PS Move games. 14. Headbutts and Fire Attacks from #Spyro. 15. Managing anger #likeAboss with #Kratos. 16. #ResidentEvil and #SilentHill made me crap bricks, until #FatalFrame and #KuOn made me crap boulders. 17. Going through drawers upon drawers of CDs just to collect all monsters and hold weekly #MonsterRancher tournaments with classmates. Good old days, right Glenn? 18. Witnessing #ChronoCross and #ValkyrieProfiles ending and... wait, I can still play the game AFTER the ending?!? 19. Whos better: #Tifa, #Garnet, or #Rinoa? Im still rooting for Rinoa. 20. I really hate cheaters, thats why I went crazy when my #GameShark got lost. Get it? Get it? Mark and SantosDakoUlo. >_< Runners-up: 21. Placing bets on Marvel vs. Capcom 22. Knights vs. Ogres on Warcraft II: The Dark Saga 23. Trapping Diablo in the soulstone for the first time. 24. Tony Hawks Pro Skater 2s soundtrack. 25. When Alucard tells Richter, the only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.
