Happy Birthday, Billy Gibbons!! The ZZ Top lead guitarist turned 64 Tuesday. Born in Houston, Gibbons formed a psychedelic band, The Moving Sidewalks, in 1968, and struck up a friendship with Jimi Hendrix, who during an appearance on The Tonight Show, said that Gibbons would be the industrys next hot guitarist. A year later, Gibbons formed ZZ Top, drafting Frank Beard and Dusty Hill from the group American Blues. Gibbons is an avid car collector and his collection includes a 1958 Ford Thunderbird and the 1933 Ford Coupe that has been featured in several of ZZ Tops videos. https://youtube/watch?v=3MbaGJN2ioQ
