Today my brother, my ace, my goon, my best friend, my world, my heart, my love turns 30 years old today. I am grateful that God has graced him enough to allow him to successfully complete his first act in life. I am in awe of our Creator to create a man so wonderful as him. We all have our short comings, and our hang ups. But it has been a blessing to watch him transform from a boy to a man. Today we will celebrate him and the fact that he is living and choosing to live freely and daily destroying stereotypes and inaccurate myths that plagues our AFRICAN American Males. He has had some educational challenges, yet he managed to graduate from Anderson University emerging out as a Black Male Teacher. Defying the odds that were set against him. His perseverance and determination is impeccable. He has truly been my role model and inspiration.
