Happy Easter to all who follow my Facebook posts. I hope that - TopicsExpress

Happy Easter to all who follow my Facebook posts. I hope that you are a follower of Him. Jesus. The One Who took our sins to the Cross, shed His blood for us - sinners - and suffered an excruciating death so that we will not have to endure Hell. The Christ went to the tomb. On the third day, He arose. We have the promise of everlasting life though our acceptance of what Christ did for us. If you are uncertain of your fate - and you want to know more - there is no better time than the present (and what better day than Easter) to ask Jesus to come into your life and your heart; understand that you are a sinner (we all are and we fall short of the Glory of God); Accept that Christ took your sin to the Cross where He shed His blood for you. Ask the Lord to forgive you and your sins; The simplicity of our salvation is what trips many people up. God loves you. Romans 5:8 affirms this: but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Salvation is free and simple. Living as a Christian is not. I love you and want to spend eternity with you. Critics will say that Christians are hypocrites. That we sin while we we are also saying we are Christian. Well, only One sinless person ever walked the earth and we celebrate His resurrection today. I admit that I am a sinner. I sin and fall short of the Glory of God. But I know that God knows me, loves me and understands me. He has given me a path to salvation. God accepts us just as we are. Let Jesus know that you know what He did for us on the Cross. Ask Him to accept you just as you are. Ask Him to come into your heart. Thank Him for loving you. Tell Him that you are sorry for the sins you have committed. He knows you. No need to dwell on that sin. It is in the past. Let it go. He has taken care of it for you. As Christians, we try to live without sinning further. But when we do, that doesnt mean that Christ doesnt love us. He does and will continue to. Seek His forgiveness. Love Him. It is crazy, isnt it? That he would love us? Sinners? But he does! I believe that you should be baptized at some point. But that doesnt seal or buy your salvation. Acceptance of Christs love and what He did for you does. Jesus told a thief beside Him on the Cross that he would be in paradise with Him that day - not after he first went down from the cross to be immersed in baptism. Baptism shows the world that you are a new person, one whose sins are washed away. Thank You, Jesus, for what you have done for me. Thank You for Your love and Your grace. I love You! Happy Easter! -Jeff
