Happy Heartiversary to Henry! One year ago today at about this time we were allowed back to see him for the first time after his open heart surgery. It was an excruciating day. We were so excited to see him. It was tough to take in all the wires and tubes coming out of him. His color was off, he later had a blood transfusion but he was doing really well and that was all we could ask for. We are so happy to see how far he has come that I decided NOT to post a photo from that day. Here is a glimpse of the funny little dude that he has become. One year ago today, Henry got a new lease on life.
