Happy Monday!!! The last 6 years I have dedicated my life to Handicap This. I truly know what it means to put your blood, sweat, and tears into a project. To say it has been a labor of love would be an understatement. Mike and I have traveled the country coast to coast. We have performed for over 70,000 people. Traveling is grueling on Mike, but he does it and keeps on doing it. After our shows we have heard countless stories of how we have made such an incredible difference, how we have positively impacted thousands of lives. The emails, texts, phone calls never stop. I am proud as hell of that accomplishment. When I get to look into the eyes of parents and see them overcome with joyous emotion, it warms my heart. To be able to be a part of something that has this effect, is truly a gift. You never know where the road can take you and what the journey has in store. Our show is all about awareness and creating positive change. The awareness is where you can help right now. We want to pack the house on Saturday, November 1st at the North Shore Center for the Performing Arts in Skokie. We know the impact our show has on an audience and we know that something magical happens when we perform. Not because we are so good, but because the message is so pure, so honest, so raw, so emotional. If you have read this far, we are asking for your help.
