Happy Monday, yall ! :-) Yesterday was fantastic! S.S., Church, 2020, then back to Church for Choir and then for a Social......great hot dogs, but we had a cookie Monster in our midst! (Shame on you, Pastor!) A dear friend came out to 2020. Infact I saw a couple of old friends that I hadnt seen in awhile! The music was excellent ! I can feel Gods hand in every inch of my life and I am so very thankful! My musician friends paid tribute to our recent losses by playing the most beautiful rendition of The Old Rugged Cross that ever came across a steel guitar! Today, its work, laundry, then a trip to the craft store with another talented friend of mine. I cant draw a straight line with a ruler, but she can slap some paint on canvas and instantly turn it into a beautiful picture! We are all given talents from God, but I think mine remain hidden from view! :-) (especially when it comes to art). This is why the Lord gives me such talented friends! My kitty and I have already had our morning discussion.......she tries to herd me and gets right in front of me......I always tell her shes going to get squashed if I step on her, but she meows back like she doesnt have a care in the world! I have some more limbs and branches to pick up and all sorts of leaves and blossoms to sweep off the porches, patios, and my carport. I guess I need the exercise! I have to look up and thank my Lord for every little thing in my life. There is a reason for each one and I am trying to not complain about them! Old habits are hard to break sometimes, so I have been trying to develop good ones! Staying in an attitude of prayer is a necessity for me. I dont need an Ipad, cell phone (whether smart or not), a Twitter account, or anything fancy to keep in contact with Christ! He is with me always. I give Him the glory and the thanks for everything, (trials and blessings), in my life. HE keeps me going. I am blessed, happy, and headed for Heaven.......how about you? Thank You, Lord Jesus.
