Happy New Year everyone.This is a day of new beginnings, time to remember and move on. I would like to quote something that Jimmy Valvano said , I urge all of you , all of you to Enjoy your life, the precious moments you --- Spend each day with some laughter and some thought to get your emotions going. To be enthusiastic every day and as Ralph Waldo Emerson said Nothing great could be accomplished without enthusiasm, to keep your dreams alive in spite of problems whatever you have. The ability to be able to work hard for your dreams to come true, to become a reality. I want everyone to know that life at times is not a bed of roses for me that I too have problems. But I know there is a God above who watches over each of us daily and will never take away our song. Gosh, I meant to write about our beautiful walk this morning but look where this has led me. Let me pause for a minute and then write about our walk. I pulled out Pinky this morning, was at Druid Hill Park at 6:30 waiting for everyone. My Fitness Son , Chauncey Whitehead was already there. My driver, Chauncey and I sat in the car waiting for everyone to arrive. Dont you know 40 people came to walk on this rainy morning and that made me so happy. I really want to tell you more about the walk but tears keep coming in my eyes. May I say I love you all and thank you for loving me. I am not just talking about the people who walk with me but everyone. I am so very grateful for all you have done for me since I have been on this fitness journey. Remember I am nothing without all of you. I am happy but I just want to cry. God Bless.
