Happy Thanksgiving Day to all!! Ya know, I gotta tell ya... Thanksgiving Day has never really been my holiday but I just have so much to be thankful for this year... Im actually glad theres a day to sit down and really acknowledge, appreciate, and truly be thankful for whats changed in my life and just how lucky and fortunate I am. This year started out pretty grim, honestly I didnt know how much longer it would be till I snapped and got locked up in some mental health ward. I had lost so much of myself and was so scared to even think about being excited for anything anymore... and then it seems in such a small amount of time everything changed... THE ROAD SO FAR...... Let me first say how thankful I am to those who had my back thru some of my worst times... my mom (Jane Wahlers) has been my rock thru so much craziness over the years, it was about time we found some peace in our lives together... she protected me and kept a cool head when I was losing mine, and I am so very thankful for it because the peak of the drama in my life this year couldve unfolded very differently if she hadnt been there to step in and calm the situation... Im so thankful to you my mom I wouldnt have ever made it this far in life without you and I love you so much!.... ....also my brother (Justin William Wahlers), hes been thru Hell and back in ways some of us cant even imagine, but hes worked so hard and made so many strong good changes in his life, its almost mind blowing... and all the while as hes been pulling himself together hes always been there to listen and let me vent... weve had each others backs thru so much shit, I dont know how I would have coped without him in the past... Im so thankful for his love and protection, hes my hero and I am so proud of him for working so hard thru school and moving towards his career as an EMT... youre awesome my brother and I love you!... ....and then OF COURSE theres Kiki, the most beautiful, smartest, friendliest, greatest kitty of all time... so orange, so cuddly, truly one of a kind... Kiki has been with me since I was about 18, so shes literally been thru it all with me, there have been times in my life I might have crashed and burned if she hadnt been there to cuddle me back into reality. Shes helped me fall asleep for years and I truly consider her my blood family... and I am just so thankful for her still being in my life and hope she gives me many years to come... I love you Ki!
