Happy Thanksgiving!!!!! Wrote a what I am thankful for earlier. But this poem I wrote about 7 or 8 years ago says it best. T- Time spent with family and friends. Talents God has given us, trusting friends, technology of Doctors, talks with family and friends, taste buds that I can taste food and teeth to chew it up. Tangible things (actual having substance) Tapestries (those woven blankets that keep us warm and cozy in the winter) Task force (that helps keep us safe) Tattle tale book (the Bible, that keeps us on the straight and narrow) I thank GOd for tea and teaspoons, for t-shirts, for without, the family would go crazy. For telephones and television. I thank God that trials and tribulationa are only temporary. Im thankful that Gods tender mercies are new every day. For the new Testament. I loved it when my boys were Three, was about to go crazy when they turned Thirteen, and now that they are in their Twenties, Im thankful they have kept me on my kneew. I thank God for the Tithes the church pays, for without, our family would not be fed. Im thankful for tissues that help me make it through all my blubbering throughout all my trials. Im thankful fot toast in the morning, tomatoes on my tostadas, turnip greens in January, tuna sandwiches, and especially thankful for my tongue (my language shoe flap). I also realize it boasts great things, and Im especially thankful when I keep it under control. (NO complaining) Im thankful for family traditions that are passed down from generations, like THANKSGIVING. And...Im especially Tonight, so I can share this with you. H - Im thankful for hugs and happy people. That we all walk in harmony. For handshakes, hairdos and great hearts. For hormones that kieep me sane, for health, healing a hedge of protection, and my hope in Christ. For my wonderful husband and headstrong children, for without, they would not have made it thus far. Im thankful that I am not helpless (unable to assist myself) and I and here to remind Satan that he cannot harm us. Im thatnkful for holidays, a harvest (gathering) of souls. For holiness (for without, no man will see God), the Holy Ghost, and today...I am thankful for Happy Thanksgiving Celebrations with family, friends, and church family. A - I am very thankful for the acts of God. For his Agape love. And knowing that I do not have to be Afraid because He is Always by my side. For beautiful Afternoons, for 26 letters in the Alphabet so I can express myself with my voice or on paper. I am thankful for Gods promises that they are yea and Amen. I believe that everything will be alright. I am not alone, for his angels keep a watch over me. Im thankful that God said, do not be anxious about nothing because He would take care of my anxieties. By God has promised He would be anything I wanted Him to be. One day, and one day soon, we will all appear before the judgement seat of Christ. I will have no fear if I have on the full armour of God, and the blood has been applied to my life. Onde soon, we will all appear together. Until then, we must lay aside all the weights and the things that come between us and God and wait for His appearing. N - Never again will we shed another tear. But...while I an sill here, I am so very thankful for neighbors, nights like this, noodles and macaroni, and chicken nuggets. I love November and Nippy mornings. And, I especiallly love Notes of encouragements that I get from ppl. K - I am thankful that God keeps His promises. That one day He knocked on my hearts door and gave me the Key to the Kingdom. From that day forward He has been my King of Kings and my Lord of Lord. F - Im thankful that Jesus is a friend that sticks closer than a brother. In Gods eyes, I am Fabulous and Fit, NOT Fat. Im Fashionable in Aaarons eyes, Foxy in Keiths, and Youre Just Fine, Mom, in Joshs eyes. And I am thankful for my little Flock at PFA. U - Im thankful that when I feel Ugly, God thanks I an beautiful. He should know, He paid the ultimate price for my beauty. To some, I am unattractive, but to my husband, I am most attractive. Im thankful that our past is under His feet, and that I do not have to be an undercover Christian. I am glad I am under His umbrella. He understands me. I can walk upright before Him and that I am at His utmost interest. And I am very thankful for U! L - Im thankful for the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. Im thankful that His word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. Im thankful that God will get the last say. Even though Josh lost his leg, that Gods light shined bright on April 13th, 2007, and gave life back to Josh. Our legacy will live on. Our lives have never been the same. Our love for eath other has grown and will continur. Im thankful for my ladies at PFA, and how much we love each other. We laugh, we loose weight together, listen to each others needs, and loof for ways to be a blessing. We lean on each other, we share lipstick, losingers, lock-ins, pooh bear lolipops, and Ladies Teas. We stay in lodges together at retreats, join together in ladies nights out, share chicken liver dinners for lunch, Red Lobster, and onion Loafs at Shorty Smalls, and cheeseburgers...with lettuce, please! And hold the onions! And last but certainly not least, one day we will all be together with our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. And even though this has been quite lenthy...I hope you know I am very THANKFUL for YOU~ Cathy Cathy Ramona Williams
