Avoid godless, foolish discussions with those who oppose you with their so-called knowledge. 1 Timothy 6:20 Jesus called a bunch of unlearned men, made disciples of them and used them to turn the world upside down. The Holy Spirit gave them all they needed to be witnesses and to demonstrate the awesome power of God (Acts 1:8). Friends, do not allow quick witted, overly educated folks to intimidate you with their head knowledge. They are like colorful party balloons bloated with air but no helium to lift them beyond the floor of argumentativeness and self-aggrandizement; and so they become an obstruction in the path of celebrants - those who walk by faith and are led by the Spirit of God. As our text warns, avoid them! Have a blessed, Holy Spirit-filled day!
