Happy birthday to Hermans Hermits rhythm guitarist Keith Hopwood, who was born October 26, 1946, in Davyhulme, Manchester, England. He grew up in the nearby rural town of Urmston. As a youngster, he was uninterested in progressing to a technical school. I remember being handed all these books full of careers, and they were just all very uninteresting. All I wanted to do was just do music all the time, although it must have seemed very impractical, Keith told us for Where Have All the Pop Stars Gone? -- Volume 1 (editpros/bookshelf/WHATPSG_Vol_1.html). Keith owns a company called Pluto Music, which produces soundtracks for television commercials, scores and theme songs for full-length TV and movie features, as well as music for childrens animated features.
