Has anyone experienced electrical gremlins with their Chevy Tahoe. Ours is a 2008 model and the locks began locking/unlocking repetitively, chiming, multiple warning lights, and the vehicle seemed unresponsive to the gas pedal with the whole dashboard blacking out. My wife drives this vehicle with our three kids and it worries me.This has happened probably 10 times in last 6 months. Lately it just fails to start for no reason and today it was acting that way again. I replaced battery since battery was less than a year old it was given at no cost thanks to the 3 year free replacement from Walmart. Now it still wont start. Doesnt do anything. At times Ive been able to disconnect battery cables leave unconnected and hook up and thats the fix. Not this time. Im tired of this vehicle. I have a 1998 honda accord with 207k that has way fewer issues. This is a known GM issue according to forums Ive read but they dont do anything to fix it. Too many electronics w backup camera remote start tire sensors etc.. In my mind thats the real problem is the sensor board is overloaded and fails to respond to proper commands.
