Hate to be the bearer of bad news Ingraham Sailor OS3 Jeremy Gut (those who made the deployment from hell in 2003 will likely remember him), is not doing well. The message I just received from his wife sounded very grim with phrases like he hasnt been gone long and my worst fears were confirmed, his brain isnt functioning at all. Several weeks ago Jeremy went into the ER with tingling in his extremities. He was diagnosed with Guillian-Barre Syndrome. One of the side effects of this condition is heart issues. The day before Thanksgiving, Jeremy had a heart attack that caused his brain to swell. It is my belief (trying to read between the lines from his wife) that he passed away this evening. Jeremy is only 30 years old. He was the sole bread winner for his little family. He has a wife and 3 boys (ages 11, 6, and 2).
