Hate to do this--but here is my mare, Karona. She is a 14 year old 14.2 Reg. Polish Arabian... you want a good horse that will take care of your child on the trails or in the pasture? LOOK NO FURTHER. Shes been ridden (by a young girl) in parades, trails, shows, competition, giving children from the ages of 4-14 riding lessons. Ive worked on this mare for 2 years. She is absolutely amazing... if I did not have to sell, I wouldnt. Ive trained her to be ridden with just a rope around her neck on trails, in arena, around barrels, trail coarse.. You cannot use a bit with her. She works 100% better without a bit. All you need is a hacky or even a halter and she is fine. Stands in cross ties or hitched, loads like a dream, good with other horses, stays out of trouble. As long as you respect her she will respect you. She is blind on one eye and looks to have had an injury in her past to her shoulder and was never fixed. Doesnt effect her abilities what so ever. Never bucked, kicked, or reared. Good around other animals, dogs, cats, sheep, cows... Originally got her for my little sister, been using her as my lesson horse for children. REALLY do not want to sell, however she needs a place where she can just be used to tinker around for children. NOT A STABLE. Asking price is $1,200.00. Negotiable to the right home. She is UTD on vaccines, not coggins. I have a ton of folks who will agree she is a child safe horse. If youd like references or videos of children on her back, I would be happy to show you.
