Hate to double-post asking for help on the same team, but now Ive got it pretty much fleshed out and Im still looking for a bit of general advice, EV spreads, overall weaknesses and if I should make any substitutions. Just to finalise things in my mind. The aim is for a Doubles Trick Room/Rain team. If this is going for too much at once, Ill sooner drop the Rain. EV spreads are mostly pulled from other peoples setups. Aggron @ Aggronite Ability: Sturdy -> Filter EVs: 252Atk, 200HP, 56SpDef [or in Def?] Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd) - Earthquake - Stone Edge - Heavy Slam - Thunder Wave/Stealth Rocks/Protect (Does Thunder Wave make the opponent faster in Trick Room? In terms of SR, I wasnt planning to lead with it unless youd recommend it - otherwise, Protect or... something else.) Slowking @ Safety Goggles [?] Ability: Oblivious EVs: 252HP, 52SpDef, 204SpA Nature: Sassy (+SpDef, -Spd) - Scald/Surf - Psychic/Psyshock - Slack Off - Trick Room (TR setter. Oblivious to keep away Taunt. Safety Goggles could keep away Spore, but Im not sure if Im playing at a competitive level where I should expect it. Surf might go okay over Scald with Vaporeon, but not so sure about anyone else. Psyshock if Reuniclus doesnt have it. Could be convinced into Slowbro, with appropriate change to nature/EVs.) Vaporeon @ Leftovers [?] Ability: Water Absorb EVs: 252HP, 128Def, 128SpD [To spread out bulk? Maybe some in SpA instead?] Nature: Bold (+Def, -Atk) [Should I go -Spd?] - Wish - Protect - Ice Beam - Scald (Can pass Wish to Aggron, or to itself with Protect. Other moves are just to fill stuff up.) Reuniclus @ Life Orb Ability: Magic Guard EVs: 252SpA, 192HP, 64Def Nature: Quiet (SpA+, Spd-) - Trick Room - Recover - Psychic/Psyshock - Shadow Ball (Only really here because I wanted >1 Trick Room setter... Chandelure was out since I was going half Rain Team. It wasnt too bad when I used it in White. Psyshock if Slowking doesnt have it.) Klefki @ Light Clay or Damp Rock Ability: Prankster Nature: Bold (+Def, -Atk) 252HP, 252SpD, 4Def Light Screen Rain Dance Foul Play Thunder Wave / Spikes / Swagger (Prankster Rain setter. Light Screen will help Mega Aggron not get wrecked by special attacks, and rain will help to keep away Fire and Ground types. Again, not sure how paralysis works under TR. Spikes could be nice, but Swagger lets me be a douche with Foul Play - any thoughts on which is better?) Dragonite @ [Item? Damp Rock if not on Klefki?] Ability: Multiscale EVs: [?????] Nature: Modest (+SpA, -Atk) - Thunder - Hurricane - Rain Dance - ExtremeSpeed/Roost/Waterfall (I wanted something that could function at an alright speed outside of Trick Room [hence Modest over Quiet] - just in case. Couldnt really Rain Dance on anyone else... maybe Slowking for Slack Off. Ive loved the idea of the 100% Hurricane/Thunder combo for a while. ExtremeSpeed is self-explanatory, Roost lets me make the most of Multiscale, Waterfall (or even Aqua Tail) could give pseudo-STAB.) After talking to others about it, it seemed that a Sun team could punch through it - hence the Rain element to things. Its there more for protection rather than offense. There are probably better ways to counter them, but this is what I came up with. Ive also never tried Trick Room without Fake Out - is that a bit risky? Any and all advice is appreciated.
