Haunted places in delhi .... In Greater Kailash – 1, for ex., a house in W Block, situated opposite the police station, has acquired the shady distinction of being haunted by such supernatural forces. The history of the house reveals that an aged couple were murdered here and decomposed body of them were found here in an under-water tank. As this couple had no children, advertisements published in newspapers asked legitimate relations of the couple to show up. Certain people did come forward to claim the house, but without any substantial proof, nobody was granted possession.Various sounds, ranging from sobs to screams, comes from the house. Some people claim to have seen shadows there. Children, in turn, are too scared to even go near the house. There is a house (Kothi) in Janak Puri which is also said to be haunted. This old guy haunts this nice house in a very nice area people stay at. No family stayed there for more than a couple of months. People say that they feel that someone is always looking at them and some people have claimed that this old guy sometimes touches them from behind. This family, a husband and wife with a kid started staying there. Within one week, the lady started complaining about some unknown force touching her from behind whenever she is cooking. Just after a couple of weeks, whenever her husband go out for office, she with her kid comes out of the house and try to stay out as much as possible. H Block, Lodhi Colony, Delhi. A house in this has one house which is haunted. A lady ghost seen leaping from the tree and troubling resident of a particular house located in H Block of Lodhi Colony. People say that, the woman was living in this H block house years ago and killed herself by setting herself on fire. It was a suicide but no one apparently knows the reason of this suicide. After this, it seems she does not like anyone else living in her house. One family, occupants of this H block house complains that they have seen smoke emanating from the tree and spiraling up in their backyard. This woman ghost appears very often, kicks and slaps the family members of this house. For this family, it is horrifying to see woman ghost coming in the form of smoke and enter in their house. They are forced to sleep closed from everywhere even in summer due to this lady ghost. Then there is this MNC in Gurgaon which is said to be haunted, specially its third floor. Lift mechanics and everyone has tried doing everything but the lift always stop at this 3rd floor. Door opens and closes as normal but when the lift comes at sixth floor, some people feel that this white shadow goes out of the lift sometimes. Employees here have seen this white shadow. Whenever employees come out of this meeting room and when they try to close the door, they feel that someone is coming out or going in there. People claim that this building is on a cremation ground and some says that a lady worker died there in its construction time. Close encounters of such spooky stories are also linked to a tree near the DDA flats in Qutub Enclave Enclave, Phase II. People claim to have seen a corpse hanging upside down from the tree nearby. According to some people, the land on which the DDA flats stand today was once a graveyard. Please note that demonic powers and spirits might become violent if you tease them. Some people make fun of them, some says it is myth but that’s unfair. Though I have not encountered any of such things, I believe in them because if there is positive, there is negative too. We must also understand what makes a place haunted. Paranormal researches says that when people die untimely death, they got stuck in a warp between earth and the heaven. Until some one comes and free them away, they will be here only. They generally stick to a place or with someone whom they love dearly
