Have you ever felt that you had just about all you could take from people. I guess most of you can relate to that thought. Mid-morning I will be leading a mens Bible study in Jeremiah and chapter 20 of that wonderful book is not easy reading. Jeremiah has been publicly beaten and humiliated for telling people how God hates their sin and horrible way of life. Jeremiah has a hard time with people, God and life itself. But in v13 there is a glorious moment of sheer joy. Many feel that the verse cannot belong in the chapter, but I am sure it does. Sometimes in our neediest times God suddenly reminds us of how much cause we have to be thankful. I hope today you will discover that God can be trusted, in spite of life being really tough. Dont be afraid to let off some steam, but read Jeremiah 20:13 and be glad too.
