Have you ever read horoscope just for fun and later felt your life is going accordingly.. Then please do read this post..It will help you get away from a major sin Insha Allah.. Astrology, numerology and horoscope are sadly, the trend in today’s modern society. Therefore, we Muslims should curb this understanding at all costs! These beliefs, without us realizing, lead to shirk! So the next time you see an article or horoscopes in newspapers/Facebook, put it aside, pronto! For example: “Number 7 is lucky for me so I should have it on my car plate number!” “My horoscope sign says that I will be granted with wealth tomorrow!” Related hadith: Narrated by Zaid ibn Khalid (r.a ): The Prophet (s.a.w.) “(Allah says): This morning one of my slaves became a believer in Me and one became disbeliever. As for the one who said ‘We have been given rain by the grace and mercy of Allah’; he is a believer in Me and a disbeliever in the stars. But as for the one who said ‘We have been given rain by such-and such star, he is a disbeliever in Me and a believer in the stars’” [Al-Tarmidhi # 3334 ] — Astrology/Horoscope is nothing but hoax. بـسـم الله والحـمـد لله والـصلاة والـسـلام عــلى رسـول الله، وبـعـد The real purpose of creating stars (including shooting stars) is as Allaah تعالى says: {It is He Who has set the stars for you, so that you may guide your course with their help through the darkness of the land and the sea.} [Surah al-An`aam (6): 97] {And indeed We have adorned the nearest heaven with lamps, and We have made such lamps (as) missiles to drive away the Shayaateen (devils)…} [Surah al-Mulk (67): 5] Imaam Al-Bukhaaree رحمه الله recorded in his Saheeh that Qataadah رحمه الله said: “Allaah created the stars for three purposes: (1) As ornaments of the heavens; (2) As missiles against the devils; (3) As signposts for the guidance of travelers. Whoever interprets otherwise is mistaken. Such a person is to lose his reward (on the Day of Resurrection), and takes upon himself that which is outside his knowledge.”
