Have you ever really thought about the song TWELVE DAYS OF CHRISTMAS? Well I dont get it. What kind of man buys his true love those kinds of gifts? I cant believe anybody is that into birds! Just think about it. On the seventh day alone this guys getting 7 swans a-swimming, 6 geese a-laying, 4 calling birds, 3 French hens, 2 turtle doves and a partridge. Thats 23 birds! Who is this man? Alfred Hitchcock? By the 12th day hes accumulated 42 swans a-swimming, 46 geese a-laying, 36 calling birds, 30 French hens, 22 turtle doves and 12 partridges. Well I hope hes got a newspaper subscription, cause thats 184 birds, a lot of cages to clean. And he didnt even take into consideration that those geese were a-laying. Some of those eggs will be hatching and guess what...more birds. Im just saying... And if thats not bad enough, come the 8th day they start sending in the show business people. Yeah, you know...ladies dancing, drummers drumming, pipers piping, lords a-leaping. Whats up with that? Ok I get that theyre in show business, theyre used to working around the holiday. But what about those poor maids a-milking? They ortta be home with there families on Christmas, not yanking on a cow. I can see em there sitting on their stool and shaking there head and saying If he brings home one more stinking bird.....and they aint no way Im pickin them pears. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!
