The Story of Ruth is a powerful story of love, life and hope. Two women thrust together by their common struggle just to survive, find these thing through their faith in God and their love and dependency on each other. While there are tremendous changes and challenges in their life, the persevere and find victory and, according to our tradition, become the ancestors of our own Savior. You never know how our struggle may transform the world around us. Pink Chapel is a celebration of that perseverance and the lives of those women and families that have been challenged by breast cancer. It is a thing that seems to have impacted us all at some point. Join us for this time of prayer, worship, hope and celebration. We will continue using our new “Wailing Wall” sacred space – a prayer station designed for your use before, during and after worship. This station will be occupied by members of our church community who understand and value the power of prayer. Feel free to come forward, stand, sit or kneel in prayer, write your prayers and pin them to the wall, be prayed over, receive anointing oil at this interactive prayer station. The chapel will remain open for prayer through 3pm with students of the church available throughout the day to pray for you. Rev. Paul Jenkins has resumed Wednesday night Bible Study in the Christian Education Lounge in Jane Freeman at 9PM. Speaking of prayer, we pray daily in the Village Church.
