Have you ever run through a red light? Have you ever gone through a Stop sign? When I taught my kids to drive, the number one rule was - - keep your eyes on the road. You may think you can drive and put your make up at the same time or drive and read a book, a newspaper, I have even seen a woman smoke, hold a cup of something and drive, simply because no one can tell you how to drive! Well, people believe that life is just like that; have all the fun in life, enjoy everything your flesh desires, cheat, lie, curse, be promiscuous, while on the way to your final destination, not minding the signs, the red lights, and caution flags God has put in the way simply because we believe no one can tell us how to live! Right now everything you do may seem like a game, something to be entertained with, but some day everything you do while you’re alive here on this earth will matter to you! God knows where you’re heading, and He knows whether you’re driving your life the way He wants you to - - keep our eyes on Jesus, for He is the only way, truth and life we have in order to arrive to our final destination safely and securely! You don’t want to arrive to your final destination without Jesus in your life because The Judge will not be kind to you, and the punishment will last for eternity! Hebrews 12:1-2 NIV Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, 2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
