Have you ever thought about losing everything in a home claim? Be it fire or wind or another peril, home claims happen. Worse case scenario - you lost your entire personal possessions. Now what? I always encourage clients to make a home inventory to document what they own so insurance companies will know what needs to be replaced. Any kind of system will work but I prefer photos or videos. Once that documentation is collected be sure to store it away from the premise, so it is not destroyed, such as your work place, safe deposit box, etc.
